Auden Literary Analysis The outlander Citizen is a satirical poesy that reflects a head of vast change in Americas biography making the poem an display case of the governments spot of the perfect modern reality in an overrated, unrealistic society. The poem is an elegy of nighone from the utter committee or an authoritative from the State. He is someone who works according to rules and regulations. He ensures that the inscrutable region citizen obeys the rules, and had done everything in order. The poet connects ridicule, symbolism and wordplay to convey to the auditory sense in monotony of this citizens goodwill to his country.
